Experienced maths teacher, EDEXCEL examiner and tutor, I am offering one-to-one maths tuition lessons for GCSE, IGCSE, A-level , university admission and university level.
I'm a maths teacher with 27 years of experience. I am currently teaching in one of the best comprehensive schools in London and in the country. I have 8 years experience as an examiner for Edexcel, marking A-level papers including Further Maths. For the last five years I have been a volunteer for UKMT( United Kingdom Mathematical Trust). I have also been a tutor for the last 13 years in one of the most successful tutoring centres in the local area (Enfield, Southgate, Oakwood, Barnet).

Mathematics degrees: what you’ll study and your career options

If you’re a talented mathematician, a maths degree can be a good option. The fact that there is a right answer to questions means that it’s possible to achieve high marks, most courses offer the chance as you progress to specialise in the areas that most interest you, and your skills will be useful in many careers. However, there are few careers for which a maths degree is essential and your grade is sometimes more important than your subject, so be wary of choosing this subject because you think it will make you more employable – especially if you are not a natural mathematician.
